RED WINE
On the serving note, keep in mind that most red wines are at their best when serving temperatures are between 15-18 degrees – serve them too warm and the taste of alcohol is overly evident, serve them too cold and they will quickly veer towards bitter and more astringent on the palate.
WHITE WINE
White wines are often consumed with lighter meals, think lunch, smaller dinners, appetizers or as an aperitif themselves. They are more refreshing, lighter in both style and taste than the majority of their red wine counterparts, making them ideal for spring and summer occasions.
SPARKLING WINE
The most irresistibly glamorous wine, champagne is the bottle we reach for on special occasions. However today, with the availability of so many affordable sparkling wines, we dont need a particular celebration to open a bottle of bubbly.
